This news parody piece over at BBspot tells of a chronic RPGer who decided that he needed to get out and meet girls… but viewed it as an RPG experience.
“I’ve been playing RPGs for a long time,” said Davis. “From Bard’s Tale to Chrono Cross, I’ve been leveling up while everyone else is out living it up. I decided it was time to get out of my apartment and join the party… wait, hold on a sec.”

The sad thing is, I didn’t realize this was a dated article until the very end… at which point I thought “FF:CC came out years ago.” Guess I need to get outside and level up. But at my current level with women, I’d probably have to start with a sea hag.
