NaNoWriMo: Day End: The Sweet Sweet Taste of Failure

Failure Is Not an Option(TM) : Six Principles That Guide Student Achievement in High-Performing Schools

And so I must admit to failure. Not the first time. Not even my greatest loss.

Last you heard, I was doing great at the halfway point… so what happened?

World-building. Research. General questioning of my ability to write my way out of a paper box constructed of dachshunds. Logical problems.

In any case, it didn’t happen. Ended at about 31k words, well short of my goal. To my credit, I did get a good bit of research done, and a have a rather lovely to-scale map constructed.

Since this is about all I have left, I’ll keep pluggin away at it. Perhaps I’ll make a new category and keep updating every so often.
