I came across this rather funny site the other day; it’s simply called The Box O’ Truth. A retired gun enthusiast has set up a website detailing his adventures in testing out gun stuff…
The purpose of the Box is to test the penetration of various rounds.
What caught my particular attention was when he attempted to shoot a padlock off - like they do in movies and whatnot. I find the amount of “stuff” in fiction that does not actually correlate with real life to be somewhat fascinating.
You don’t actually have to read the page to get a good idea; it’s got lots of pictures. All of his tests are well documented pictorially, so feel free to check em out - some sweet pics in there.
End truth: Be afraid of Chuck Norris with a shotgun. Actually, just be afraid of Chuck Norris.
