Chinese students take cheating to new heights? lows?

Apparently competition for higher education in China is pretty tough, with about 9.5 million peeps trying to fill 2.6 million vacancies.

For a few - an admittedly small percentage - it seems much easier to cheat rather than study. Chinese administrators are wise to the antics are upgrading security - leading some students to become even more ingenious. (An ironic statement if ever there was one).

A student in Wuhan, capital of China’s central province of Hubei, used earphones so small that they slipped into his aural canal and perforated his eardrum, the China Daily newspaper said.

Ouch.

But not quite as ouch as the student who strapped - something - to his body that exploded and left a hole in his abdomen. How much would that not be fun?
