Yet another life-imitates-fantasy in which scientists, using cell phone technology have managed to recreate the famous Weasley clock. For those who haven’t read the books - shame on you - the Weasley clock does not tell time, it instead give the location of every family member: work, home, travel, mortal peril, etc.

The premise of ClearWire is simple and interesting; use the technology of Wi-Max to avoid having to carry broadband internet signals over physical lines - whether that’s a phone or cable line. ClearWire is designed to have near 100% coverage in a given locale; ie, all of Abilene is covered. All that you have to do is take the modem and plug it into an electrical outlet - and BOOM, hi-speed internet.
